Constance M. Locklear
Constance Locklear is an associate attorney, and her principal area of practice is family law. Her first two years of practice were in a downtown Seattle family law firm, and she practices primarily in King and Snohomish counties.
Constance focuses on the individual needs of each case, and believes in a close relationship with each client to allow a dynamic approach to the ever changing needs of the case, her client, and their family. Careful planning, open communication, and an eye for the big picture has yielded advantageous outcomes for her clients – especially in high asset cases.
She graduated with departmental honors from the University of Oregon, and cum laude from Seattle University School of Law.
When Constance is not practicing law, she enjoys playing recreational volleyball, baking, and taking her pup to the dog park.
Having to go through a divorce was hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life. I feel so fortunate to have had Constance Locklear represent me during this time. It was so important for me to have faith and confidence in my lawyer and Constance exceeded all my expectations. My divorce was not fast or easy. There were times when I was being bullied and intimidated and Constance did everything within her power to protect me. I have and will continue to consider Constance not only my lawyer but also my friend. I highly recommend anybody needing representation to hire Ms. Locklear!
Constance Locklear guided me through the dissolution of my marriage with a perfect blend of focused advocacy and wise, practical realism that saved me much time and money. Having now gone through this experience, I know that I received the best partnership from legal counsel that one could hope to have.
Constance assisted me with a parenting plan issue. She did a wonderful job of carefully explaining the law and reviewing my options. She was very supportive and let me know what to expect as the case moved forward. With her assistance we were able to negotiate an agreement that everyone was comfortable with; and most importantly, was truly focused on the child’s best interest. I would not hesitate to work with Constance again and would recommend her to anyone dealing with a family law matter.
Constance came in at the last minute and turned around an attempt by my wife's lawyer to blindside me into a non-contested settlement. Rather than liquidating income earning assets, we negotiated for a lifetime retirement fund. It was a good result for both parties. Constance was tireless in her legal research and fact finding. Constance made an uncomfortable situation bearable with her great attitude and office demeanor. I only regret that the case is closed because I miss meeting with Constance.
